This restored historic home is within walking distance to downtown, and is 12 minutes for the airport. It is in a quiet neighborhood, and is close to St. Vladimir's Cultural Centre. The home is decorated with elegant antiques, including a grand piano (and two keyboards), and cast iron tubs. This was highly recommended by one of our board members. Speak with Kelly for CASSA special 2010 rates: $60 per night if you bring your own breakfast, or $85 per night with breakfast.

There are several hotels in downtown Calgary that are within walking distance of St. Vladimir's Cultural Centre. Most downtown hotels are very well-appointed. Other excellent hotels are available but may require transportation.

Motel Village is an area close to the university. It has several hotels of good quality and is 7 km (about 10 minutes driving) from St. Vladimir's Cultural Centre. There are several restaurants in the area. For breakfast, Phil’s has fast service and excellent food.

Restaurants Near St. Vladimir

Calgary is fortunate that it has an abundance of excellent restaurants with cuisines from all over the world. Major hotels have their own restaurants and many of the motels have restaurants or coffee shops. Motel village has several restaurants. There are several restaurants reasonably close to St. Vladimir's Cultural Centre, primarily Italian and Chinese cuisine. Some restaurants* listed are within a 20 minute walk of St. Vladimir's Cultural Centre and there are many more restaurants than are listed here.
